    1. Thank you so much Becca! Yes, I know which one is your favorite, same as mine but sometimes another combo can just sing. I gave the other bouquet to a gal whose favorite colors are orange and yellow. We are all very happy!

  10. Your dahlias are gorgeous!
Since they are the official San Francisco city flower I tried to grow them one year.
What earwig magnets they turned out to be....
Can only imagine the challenges you face down growing such exquisite flowers.

    1. Thank you for the very nice compliment. We so agree with you about dahlias as magnets for earwigs and cucumber beetles, especially the white and yellow blossoms. We don't spray so it is growing in large quantities and early enough to be ahead of the bugs. There is great celebration when we get some nice white flowers, hence the bouquet.

  12. Oh my goodness! I am meant to be working not blog reading, and so have reluctantly torn myself away from this and your previous posts, which are just so beautiful. As soon as I saw a dahlia I was hooked - they are my most favourite flower, and in summer my pockethandkerchief sized garden is full of them. Currently it is a staked bare patch, so I shall live vicariously through yours! And all those other amazing flowers you are busily growing. Amanda x
